March 26 Forest Stewardship Workshop – Healthy Forests, Healthy Wallets

The Natural Resource Conservation Service offers funding for forest stewardship through EQIP: the Environmental Quality Improvement Program.  Join us at 6pm on Wednesday evening March 26 at the Sisson Museum in Mt. Shasta to learn more about forest stewardship and how one local landowner group used EQIP to improve fire resiliency and forest health without breaking the bank.

This is the first of four Forest Stewardship workshops offered this spring 2014 by the Siskiyou Land Trust, the Shasta Valley Resource Conservation District and the NRCS: Natural Resource Conservation Service.
