This committee develops conservation projects and facilitates stewardship activities on land holdings and conservation easements held by the land trust. The committee also reviews monitoring data collected at each of the land holdings, to look for changes in ecological conditions or other impacts needing attention. An example of a typical stewardship project would be the installation of educational signs for the public, or the removal of invasive weeds from a property. When appropriate, this committee also works with landowners who are interested in stewardship of their land. Volunteers meet on a monthly basis to plan and implement project activities.
