California Biodiversity Week for the Mount Shasta Bioregion is happening September 5 – 13. This regional event presents a great opportunity to observe and track numerous plant and wildlife species in the Mount Shasta area. The iNaturalist online platform is available to log your observations during the week.
On Wednesday, September 9, at 6pm, join Siskiyou Land Trust & Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center at the Mt. Shasta Library (515 E. Alma St.)for a workshop on using iNaturalist. Afterwards, hone your skills during a guided saunter through SLT’s Garden Greenway across the street, starting at 7pm.
