Cristina Coate 
Board Member 

Cristina is a collaborative, solutions-focused human resources leader with over 15 years of experience supporting dynamic, fast-paced organizations. She partners closely with leadership teams to streamline operations, strengthen workplace culture, and align people strategies with business goals.

Cristina brings experience across hospitality, manufacturing, staffing, and craft beverage industries, with a strong focus on employee engagement, organizational efficiency, and HR operations.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, an Advanced Human Resources Management Certificate from Sonoma State University, and a certification in Mindful Workplace Facilitation.

A fourth-generation Sonoma County native, Cristina was born and raised in Petaluma, where she also raised her family. Cristina moved to Siskiyou County (Weed CA) in July 2024 to enjoy her outodoor passions of spending time outdoors, especially hiking, golfing and exploring Northern California and the Pacific NW.

In her spare time, Cristina travels extensively and runs her own travel planning and concierge company called Terra Mater Travel & Celebrations that offers custom small group and boutique travel packages focused on the perfect balance of active, wellness, cultural/historical, culinary and unique travel experiences at home and across the globe.
