Join Siskiyou Land Trust for the City Nature Challenge!
Help document the incredible biodiversity of Siskiyou County by contributing your observations to the iNaturalist app during this global community science event.
The City Nature Challenge (CNC) is the world’s largest community science project, and Siskiyou County is part of it! From April 24-27, 2026, every plant, animal, or fungust you observe and upload through the iNaturalist app will count toward our region’s total.
Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or just curious about the world around you, anyone can participate. Explore your backyard, a local trail, or your favorite outdoor spot. Every observation matters.
This is also a great opportunity for classrooms, families, and visitors to get involved, with real-time results visible both locally and globally.
