November is passing swiftly through Siskiyou County. Fog has returned to Scott Valley and the hundreds of native plants in Sisson Meadow and the SLT Garden Greenway are going dormant. As the holiday season approaches, so too does Giving Season.
Giving Tuesday, the International Day of Giving, is almost here! You can make an impact by giving early. Every dollar goes directly to supporting conservation in Siskiyou County.Â
Each year, we look forward to gathering with our community to celebrate its generosity of spirit. Redwood Gallery in downtown Mt. Shasta (who donates 2% of sales to SLT!) will host us and our friends from Mt. Shasta Trail Association on Tuesday, December 2nd 4pm-7pm. Join us for drinks and snacks in one of the most beautiful spaces on Mt. Shasta Blvd!
You can support SLT simply by forwarding this email to a friend or voting for us here (you’ll need to scroll quite a bit). Help us raise awareness as well as funds. Your help in spreading the word about local, landscape-scale conservation is invaluable.
After an inspiring Annual Meeting last weekend, the Siskiyou Land Trust office is abuzz with gratitude. Thank you for your support. SLT depends on your contributions to permanently conserve and steward the irreplaceable wild places, watersheds, and working lands that are the heart of Siskiyou County.
All your favorite local nonprofits are celebrating downtown this year! Make sure you stop by Redwood Gallery to join us in toasting to the Giving Season.Â
