DESCRIPTION:Yreka Phlox Walk\n\n\n\nPhoto by Kristin Davis.\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us on a botanical Nature Walk to view the endangered and endemic Yreka Phlox! SLT Stewardship Manager\, Laura Bradley\, and Habitat Restoration Biologist\, Jennifer Silveira\, will lead this tour of Siskiyou Land Trust’s China Hill Phlox Preserve. This property was specifically acquired to protect the endangered Yreka Phlox. We will be looking at wildflowers as well as birds on this short stroll\, so don’t forget your binoculars! \n\n\n\nPlan on walking 1.5 – 2.0 miles on loose gravel roads with approximately 200 feet of total elevation gain. \n\n\n\nRegistration is required for this free event.
