The community is invited to Siskiyou Land Trust’s annual meeting on May 10th from 6:00-8:30 pm at Sisson Museum. SLT will look back at the last year and forward to 2018 projects and goals through short presentations by volunteers, board and staff. Sisson Meadow stewards will introduce the new Art Committee goals and monitoring program, Garden Greenway staff will talk about partnerships and projects for this summer and we’ll celebrate land conservation achievements.

SLT will provide finger foods, beverages and a wine bar. There will be social time starting at 6pm and the program will begin at 6:30pm. After the presentation there will be time to chat with stewards, staff and board members.

The Land Trust engages in community through its land conservation projects with private landowners, projects and partnerships to create and steward public landscapes, and educational outreach events. Projects are often community inspired and driven, like the Garden Greenway Learning Landscape across from Sisson School and recent enhancements to Sisson Meadow. Come hear from volunteers, board members and staff about ways you and your family can get engaged with outdoors, hands-on projects. Social time starts at 6:00pm and the program begins at 6:30pm at Sisson Museum, located at 1 North Old Stage Road, Mt. Shasta.
