Living in Siskiyou County means every summer we are faced with the threat of catastrophic fire.  Join us at 6pm on Wednesday evening April 30 at the Sisson Museum in Mt. Shasta for a conversation on how wildfire impacts water quality and what is being done to mitigate impacts to water quality from both the wildfore itself and the forest management needed to reduce the threat of catastrophic fire.

This workshop is hosted in collaboration with California Trout.

This is the second of four Forest Stewardship workshops offered this spring 2014 by the Siskiyou Land Trust, the Shasta Valley Resource Conservation District and the NRCS: Natural Resource Conservation Service.
