On Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 pm in the Sisson Museum in Mt. Shasta, the Siskiyou Land Trust will feature Grover Shipman with a slideshow and discussion on Rock Climbing in our area. This event is part of our annual slideshow series, and the suggested $8 donation is a fundraiser for the Siskiyou Land Trust.

Grover Shipman has served our community for over 10 years as a physician in the Mt Shasta Emergency department, accumulating about 16,000 patient visits in that time. He is also a mountaineer and climber, from his childhood in the mountains of Arkansas’ Ozarks to the diverse climbing areas of Siskiyou County. In 2013, he wrote the book Mt Shasta Area Rock Climbing.
